Efflorescence uses primarily moving image and installation to playfully look at the temporal, employing childhood pass-times to explore the non-permanence of creation. The tenement will act as an interactive setting for a viewer-lead spatial narrative, navigating memories as well as the potentials and possibilities in time. This surrounding narrative prompts the viewer's imagination as they meld together notional stories with their own experiences. Loosely drawing from the aesthetic of stalactites and stalagmites, Efflorescence questions fantasy and predictability, whilst evoking different speeds of time.
