Glasgow Zine Fest

Glasgow Zine Fest is an independent publishing festival that champions DIY art and empowerment.

Zines—self-made magazines—have their roots in punk and protest movements. The medium has become an accessible way to share art, ideas and cat photos. This tradition continues at GZF with a programme focused on equality and engagement. GZF will feature a slate of events, including screenings, talks, seminars and a series of practical workshops in zine-making.

The main event of GZF is a zine fair, featuring collections from zine makers of all shapes and sizes, as well as zine libraries and distributors.

A friend of Glasgow Open House Arts, and a separate festival in it's own right. GOHAF will have a table at GZF, which will feature a range of zines produced by a number of this year's Open House artists! In addition, you will also be able to pick up GOHAF 2017 printed programmes and maps.

GZF’s fair runs Saturday from 11–6 and Sunday 11–3. Come see what it’s all about, alright, pal?

Opening times:

Saturday 29th April - 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Sunday 30th April - 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
