SWEETIE PALM WINE
An exhibition of documentary/portrait photography - the experience of Scottish students during Green Door Studios study tour in Tafi Atome, Ghana (Nov 2016) and the Ghanaian teachers and artists that work and live there. 'Sweetie Palm Wine' is a series of film photographs depicting four weeks of study, exploration and partying in the rural Volta Region of Ghana in November 2016; highlighting the lives of the local people, their art and their enthusiastic teaching and encouragement of the Scottish students. A GreenDoor study tour consists of three weeks of drum, dance and singing lessons, focusing on the three main regional practices: Borborbor, Adbajah and Ak-pi.
