THATS WHY I WAS TRYING TO HIT YOUR UNICAST SPACE

Niels Bugge - Rosie O'Grady

A worm in the internet router becomes the subject of this exhibition in which Niels Bugge (California) and Rosie O'Grady (Glasgow) present new video and sculptural work. The exhibition takes its cue from the transcript of an online conversation between the author of the malware and the vice president of a San Francisco-based company who specialise in protecting Minecraft servers from attack. Installed in the communal stairwell – a threshold between private domestic space and the public realm – the work addresses the invasive potential of the internet within the home.
